You want to go? No, actually. The bus doesn't work. Doesn't work?

What happened? Well, somebody tried to steal the bus. How did they try to steal the bus? They put a um screwdriver into the door and they put it into the ignition and jammed that, too.

The person was under the influence and she didn't really know what she was doing. I was having coffee with my sister and I happened to look out the window and I saw a figure in the bus kind of moving back and forth and I went running outside and I was like, "What are you doing?" Did you press charges? No. Why didn't you press charges?

Well, because I thought once this woman gets the help she needs and she gets healed, I really didn't want to be a part of making her life harder. What are you taking the bus? The bus is going to be renovated and turned into a community mobile resource so that we can get into the community and help families with things like healing circles around grief and and violence, healing hub, and justice hub. Monthly, we'll have lawyers on here for free and we'll pull up into your community and you can jump on the bus and get some legal supports and some healing circles for youth, for moms, for men.

Why do you want to do that? We are the Blue House and the Blue House came because my son was killed by gun sorry. Almost 4 years ago, October 16th, it'll be 4 years. He was protecting at a nightclub.

So, we don't have answers and what we do know is that he loved pouring into the community. He's literally saved lives even that night after he was killed, he was able to usher people into safety before he took his last breath. Wow. As a mom, how does that make you feel?

I'm proud of him and I feel a new anger I didn't have before because there's no answers and there were hundreds of people there that night. Yeah, like why wasn't it my son? Yeah. At the his funeral, we heard a lot of people say how he walked them literally off the bridge when they went in to take their own lives.

Oh, man. How old was he? 23. He had that big of an impact at 23?

Yeah, at 23. Does helping people help you? Oh my gosh, it it's the only thing that really does right now. What are you going to do with the bus now?

Do you have money to repair it? No, I'll find a way. So, is it a non-profit? Right now, it's just an LLC.

Do you take donations for your LLC? Yeah. Yeah? Could I give like a a donation to your LLC?

That'll be great. Thank you. I appreciate you. I want this to go towards the next chapter of the Lou House.

Oh, I appreciate that. So, whatever that looks like. Yes, thank you. Thank you so much.

Yeah, and I I like the sweatshirt. Is that That's Gabriel. Is it Gabriel? Yeah.

Oh, man. orange ribbon is gun violence awareness. Yeah. Your daughter Ariel nominated you and said that you're the most loving and caring mom.

Mhm. She told us that you took some of the hardest things that could happen to a mom and turned it into something positive, and I think that's really beautiful. Thank you. Bless your soul.
