Email updates
How email signup information is used.
When someone joins Josh's email community, the form may collect first name, email address, signup source, signup page, consent timestamp, consent wording version, and subscription status.
- Kit is used to manage subscribers, tags, unsubscribe status, and email delivery.
- People may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails.
- Signup source is recorded so Josh can understand which website locations are helpful without sending names or email addresses into analytics.
- Donation, nomination, contact, and partnership opt-ins must be optional and unchecked by default.
- Sensitive nomination details, payment data, medical information, phone numbers, nominee information, and private stories should not be sent to Kit.
Analytics
Signup tracking is designed to avoid personal data.
The website signup system records privacy-conscious events such as signup form views, starts, successes, errors, popup views, and popup dismissals. These events do not include complete email addresses, names, phone numbers, nomination details, or other personal information.
External services
Some actions happen on other public platforms.
When you use an external form, email client, social link, or donation page, that platform may process information under its own privacy practices.
Media, partnership, and general messages use the public email path: josh@laasports.com.
Support the Mission uses the public Donorbox link. The site does not process donations directly.
