In September 2026, Minnesota State University, Mankato's University Archives agreed to preserve a curated collection documenting Josh Liljenquist's creator career and community-support work. Archives staff confirmed receipt of the initial digital transfer on September 25.
The transfer included biographical and career materials, press references, selected community-impact documentation, representative photography, rights information, and audiovisual links. It was an initial curated transfer—not a complete archive of every video or project.
