What does "raised" mean here?
A fundraiser total shows how much a campaign publicly recorded at a point in time. It does not automatically establish how much a recipient ultimately received, how much was spent, or whether a longer-term goal was completed. Processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, timing, beneficiary arrangements, donated goods or services, and later changes can affect what a public total means.
Does Josh earn money connected to fundraising?
Josh receives separately paid compensation from GoFundMe for qualifying fundraising activity under his arrangement with the platform.
