Grading table
Formula and method
Questions mode uses correct ÷ total × 100. Wrong-answer mode first calculates correct = total − wrong. Points mode uses earned ÷ possible × 100.
Worked example
45 correct out of 50 is 90%; 3 wrong out of 20 is 85%; 42 points out of 50 is 84%.
Assumptions and limits
Letter thresholds are editable example defaults. Schools and instructors may use different grading scales, rounding, curves, and extra-credit policies.
Up to 50 rows are supported where rows are used. Calculations require finite bounded numbers and keep full precision internally; rounding is for display only.
School-policy boundary
Grading, GPA, credit, rounding, extra-credit, and course policies vary. This arithmetic tool does not determine admission, graduation, academic standing, scholarship, honors, athletic eligibility, or an official transcript result. Confirm the applicable syllabus or institutional policy.
