A geographic parent, not a national celebrity directory
The page gives the Midwest, Minnesota and local research a precise national parent. It does not classify every American as a celebrity, publish a national creator ranking, or imply that unpublished regions already have directories.

Geography methodology
Official Census geography stays separate from reader-language regions
Census hierarchy
Country → Census region → Census division → state or District of Columbia. Published metro, county and city owners can sit below that framework without replacing it.
Multiple relationships
A person can have different birthplace, upbringing, education, professional-base and current-base geographies. The evidence model does not collapse them into one location.
Editorial regions
Upper Midwest, Great Lakes, Northern United States, East Coast and West Coast are not treated as Census regions. No standalone page is published here without a separate definition and search-intent case.

Public definitions with visible provenance
The Census Bureau established the four-region, nine-division system for presenting statistical data. Puerto Rico and the U.S. Island Areas are not included in Census regions or divisions and are therefore outside this particular dataset.
