Methodology and limitations
This calculation uses the Enhanced ACT method in effect for all ACT tests from September 2025 onward: average the English, Math, and Reading section scale scores, then round to the nearest whole number. Fractions below one-half round down; one-half or above rounds up. Science and Writing remain separate and are not included.
Do not use this three-section method to reconstruct a historical Composite calculated under older rules.
