What this TikTok ranking counts
The ranking compares one verified primary official TikTok account for each creator entity. Secondary and backup accounts were audited as context but are not added to ranking totals.
Why primary-account-only? Secondary-account discovery, control and currentness could not be verified consistently across the full cohort. This method avoids adding a portfolio for one creator while comparing another creator on a single account.
TikTok often rounds public displays. Counts are approximate snapshots, and account follower totals do not represent unique people across the dataset.
Publisher disclosure: Josh Liljenquist publishes this website and is included in the ranking. The same TikTok account-control and Minnesota-eligibility rules are applied to every creator or creator group listed. The public JSON snapshot and source links are provided for review.

Primary and secondary TikTok account decisions
These examples show why the ranking uses primary accounts instead of attempting uneven portfolio totals.
Josh Liljenquist
- Counted: @joshlilj, approximately 11.5M
- Other accounts added: none
- Reason: the official primary account is owner-confirmed and publicly reproducible.
CrazyJamJam
- Known: primary account approximately 2.7M
- Also located: @crazyjamjam2 at approximately 757.5K and an older similarly named account
- Decision: unranked because current Minnesota geography and the current role of the additional accounts remain unresolved.
Abraham Piper
- September 17 snapshot: @abrahampiper, approximately 1.69M
- Also reviewed: a publicly associated secondary profile
- Decision: current Minnesota-base qualification is unresolved, so this record is not counted in the current ranking. The original audit did not add secondary followers.

Concise answers
Minnesota TikTok creator questions
Who is the most-followed TikTok creator in Minnesota?
In this September 2026 dataset of currently Minnesota-based creators, Josh Liljenquist has the largest verified primary-account TikTok following at approximately 11.5 million followers on @joshlilj.
Are secondary TikTok accounts included?
No. The ranking uses one verified primary account per creator entity because secondary-account ownership and currentness could not be audited consistently across the full cohort. Secondary leads remain documented in the public data where useful.
Why are Haley Kalil and Jimmy Darts not in the Minnesota ranking?
Both have major Minnesota ties, but current-residence evidence places them outside Minnesota. They appear in the separate Minnesota-linked section instead.
How is this different from the Minnesota Creator Index?
This page compares TikTok only. The Minnesota Creator Index compares creator-controlled audience totals across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
Current geography review; historical audience retained
On October 29, the shared geography review reconciled Squirmy and Grubs as a documented non-exclusive Twin Cities creator base, alongside a seasonal Los Angeles base. The source-backed decision applies consistently across the current directories and platform supplements.
This page’s ranked and partial arrays remain the original dated audience comparison. They have not been remeasured or reranked. A partial YouTube or Instagram observation is not zero or newly rankable merely because a geography question is resolved. Use a separately dated comparable audience edition before recalculating a ranking.
