What this Facebook ranking counts
The ranking compares one verified primary official Facebook creator presence for each creator entity. Both Pages and professional profiles are eligible when they are demonstrably official and expose a comparable public follower count.
Why primary-presence-only? Aggregating multiple Pages and profiles was rejected because secondary projects, brands and legacy presences cannot be discovered or attributed consistently across the full cohort. One primary presence per creator entity is more reproducible and less likely to double count overlapping audiences.
Facebook Pages and professional profiles can both qualify, but only their public follower counts are comparable. Page likes, friends, group members, engagement, views and reach are excluded. Shared and group audiences are assigned once to the group entity. Counts change continuously, and follower totals do not represent unique people.

How the Facebook ranking works
What counts as a Minnesota Facebook creator?
A creator or creator group must have a documented current Minnesota residence, creator base or professional base and an official Facebook presence used for public creator work. Birthplace, former residence and a general Minnesota association do not qualify by themselves.
Are Facebook Pages and professional profiles both eligible?
Yes. Either can qualify when creator control is sufficiently verified and Facebook publicly exposes a comparable follower count. All 18 ranked records in this snapshot resolved to Pages; no professional-profile record met every ranking requirement in this cohort.
Are multiple Facebook Pages added together?
No. The ranking uses one primary official presence per creator entity. Secondary projects, business pages, brand properties and legacy pages were reviewed but not aggregated.
Why are Page likes and Facebook Groups excluded?
Page likes and group membership measure different actions from following a creator presence. Mixing them would make the ranking internally inconsistent.
How are family and group entities handled?
A shared audience is assigned once to the group entity. Food Dolls, CboysTV, The Chats Fam and Squirmy and Grubs are not duplicated across individual members.
What happens when a count cannot be verified?
The creator remains visible in the audit's partially verified section but receives no ordinal rank. Unknown values are not treated as zero.
