Velocity-change model
Average acceleration is (final velocity − initial velocity) ÷ elapsed time. Reverse modes use vf = vi + at, vi = vf − at, and t = (vf − vi) ÷ a after unit normalization.
Signed and time behavior
Negative acceleration is retained. Reverse-time mode rejects zero acceleration and any entered relationship that produces nonpositive time. This is a constant-average model, not instantaneous acceleration or vehicle-safety analysis.
