Browser-local Unicode utility

Text Symbols Picker

Find and copy useful Unicode symbols from a curated browser-local collection with names and code points.

Select a symbol to copy it.

Method and example

The picker filters a curated 46-record local dataset by category, name, symbol, or code point. Each record includes the literal symbol, a human-readable label, and its Unicode code point.

Searching “arrow” finds the directional arrow set; choosing a result copies only that literal character after a user action.

Compatibility and limits

This is a curated practical subset, not a complete Unicode database. Rendering varies by operating system and app. Symbols are not automatically accessible or appropriate for essential information.

Technical output regions scroll internally on narrow screens. Copying occurs only after a button press, and unsupported or malformed input produces a controlled message.

Security and accessibility

All input is handled as inert text. HTML-like content is never executed or fetched. Unicode formatting, symbols, and invisible characters can be difficult for assistive technology; use ordinary labeled text for essential information.
