Methodology and limitations
ESTIMATE: Enter a percentage for each exam component. This tool applies the current published weights (Multiple-choice section 50%, Free-response section 50%) to produce a weighted practice composite from 0 to 100.
It does not produce an official AP score from 1 to 5. College Board sets performance standards and may use version-specific cut scores; no universal official cutoff table is applied here.
