Method and example
The pool is frequency-guided and filtered from redistributable lexical sources, then tagged only where Princeton WordNet records the word in the selected part of speech. Length is calculated from normalized lowercase English spelling.
Example use
Choose Adjective and 5 letters for a focused list, or leave both filters open for broader brainstorming. A word may appear in more than one part-of-speech filter when its ordinary uses genuinely overlap.
Behavior and limits
- The pool contains common, useful vocabulary rather than every English word.
- Batches avoid duplicates; requests larger than the eligible filtered pool return an error.
- Part-of-speech labels describe possible uses, not the role a word must play in every sentence.

Random selection
