Encoding changes HTML-sensitive characters to inert references. Decoding supports amp, lt, gt, quot, apos, nbsp, and valid decimal/hex numeric references; unknown named entities remain unchanged.
Limits and boundaries
5 MB UTF-8 input. Processing uses strict local APIs and treats output as inert text. This tool does not execute, fetch, navigate to, encrypt, verify authenticity, or establish security suitability for the supplied content.
