Timer
00:00:00
Ready.
How timing stays accurate
The timer maps monotonic elapsed time onto a repeating focus-and-break timeline. If rendering is delayed across one or several boundaries, the next update finds the correct current phase instead of extending missed phases.
Worked example
With the defaults, four 25-minute focus sessions are separated by 5-minute short breaks, followed by a 15-minute long break before the cycle repeats.
Limits and browser behavior
Focus settings are 1–120 minutes, short breaks 1–60, long breaks 1–120, and long-break intervals 1–10 sessions. The Pomodoro technique is a configurable time-management approach, not a medical treatment or productivity guarantee.
Sound is generated locally after a user action. No remote audio file, notification permission, wake lock, microphone, or recording is used.
Privacy and accessibility
Timer values remain page-memory only and disappear when the tab is reloaded. Buttons are keyboard operable, state and phase changes are announced without announcing every tick, and reduced-motion preferences disable decorative motion without changing timing.
