Exact univariate polynomial division
Polynomial Long Division Calculator
Divide one polynomial in x by a general nonzero polynomial and show the exact quotient, remainder, and long-division steps.

Long-division steps
Method
Finite decimal coefficients become exact rational numbers. Reconstruction independently verifies dividend = divisor × quotient + remainder with zero tolerance because rational arithmetic is exact.
Limitations
Only univariate polynomials in x are supported. No negative or fractional exponents, other variables, functions, symbolic parameters, factoring, roots, graphing, calculus, or general computer-algebra behavior.
Privacy
No account, server calculation, fetch, XHR, beacon, cookie, local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, device identifier, or user-value telemetry is used.
