Raise and annualization method

Percentage mode multiplies current pay by 1 + raise rate. Fixed mode adds an amount for the selected period. Weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly, and annual use 52, 26, 24, 12, and 1 periods; hourly uses editable hours and weeks.

Gross pay only

Results are before taxes and deductions. The tool does not estimate withholding, FICA, Medicare, benefits, retirement deductions, tax brackets, overtime eligibility, or take-home pay.

Worked example

At 25 per hour, a 10% raise produces 27.50 per hour. At 40 hours per week and 52 weeks, annualized gross pay changes from 52,000 to 57,200.

Estimate boundaries

Results use only entered assumptions and deterministic formulas. No bank, salary, stock, dividend, issuer, geolocation, or other external financial data is requested.
