Open a generation and enter only the details you want to show. Empty boxes remain writable on paper. Names may be up to 100 characters; overlong names trigger a visible error rather than being cut off.

Chart choices

Use a single-sheet, left-to-right ancestry chart for three or four generations. The five- and six-generation versions keep text readable by showing a three-generation overview and one continuation page for each grandparent branch. This is a simple chart, not genealogy database software; it does not merge duplicate people, import GEDCOM files, or prove relationships.

How to use it

  1. Choose the generation count and paper size.
  2. Enter names and optional years in the generation groups. Blank boxes can be filled after printing.
  3. Preview the pages, then download the complete PDF, export an individual SVG, or print the full set.

Privacy and limitations

Names and years remain in memory in this tab. They are not uploaded, added to a URL, or saved in browser storage. Generated files contain what you entered, so handle downloaded copies according to your own privacy needs. Long names wrap; when one cannot fit, the maker asks you to shorten it rather than truncating it silently.
