The default makes one Letter portrait sheet. Select a measured preset or enter custom spacing; all dimensions are calculated in physical units, not screen pixels.

When enabled, page 1 uses the left value as its inside margin. Page 2 swaps left/right margins. The PDF contains front and back pages.

The preview scales the same point-based geometry used for PDF and SVG. Your printer may still impose margins or scaling.

How to use the maker

Choose Letter or A4, portrait or landscape, and a measured line-spacing preset.
Adjust top, bottom, left and right margins. Reserve blank header space or add a notebook margin line if useful.
For binding or duplex use, enter inside and outside margins and enable mirrored two-page mode. Review both pages.
Download a vector PDF, download the SVG for either page, or print directly. Use Actual Size / 100% and the matching paper size; disable Fit to Page.

How the lines are measured

The tool converts inches or millimeters to PDF points (72 points per inch). The first writing line is one spacing interval below the top margin plus blank header area. Each following line advances by the selected spacing. A line at the exact bottom content boundary is included; no line crosses the bottom margin. The displayed line count is calculated from this rule.

Printing and privacy

PDF and SVG lines are vector paths, not screenshots. The two-page PDF mirrors the inside margin on the back page. Browser print uses the same geometry and hides the website controls. Printer hardware margins and driver scaling vary, so measure a test print before relying on exact paper spacing. Settings and generated pages stay in this browser tab; this tool does not upload or save them.
