How it works
Recognized chord tokens are mapped to pitch classes, shifted modulo 12, and respelled with the chosen sharp/flat preference. Quality suffixes such as m, maj7, 7, dim, aug, sus, and a slash-bass note are preserved. Key mode derives the semitone difference from the selected source and target tonics.
Example and limits
Cmaj7 +2 → Dmaj7; Am +2 → Bm; C/E +2 → D/F♯ (displayed as D/F#).
This is a chord-symbol transformer, not a lyric database or a complete harmonic spelling engine. Ambiguous ordinary words that resemble chord symbols may be changed; review pasted text before use. No copyrighted song material is supplied.
