Method
The calculation uses total elapsed time and observed frame intervals. It does not average instantaneous reciprocal frame times.
Limitations
Browser scheduling, page visibility, power state, display composition, and other workload affect the measurement. This is not monitor-Hz certification, game FPS, GPU benchmarking, overclock validation, or hardware diagnosis.
Privacy
No account, server calculation, fetch, XHR, beacon, cookie, local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, device identifier, or user-value telemetry is used.
