How the generator works
Deterministic totals
Money uses integer cents. Quantity uses integer thousandths. Percentage rates use integer thousandths of a percent, with half-up rounding to cents.
Private by default
Names, addresses, prices, line items, notes, and document numbers stay in this browser memory and are not saved or uploaded.
Letter and A4 PDFs
The local PDF export uses crisp text and vector lines, repeats table headings on new pages, and keeps totals on the final page.
How to use this purchase order generator
- Enter the buyer and vendor details you want displayed.
- Add line items with quantities and unit prices.
- Choose a percentage or fixed discount, then enter any applicable tax rate and shipping.
- Review the live preview, then print or download the local PDF.
Calculation method and limitations
Line totals round quantity times unit price to currency cents. Discount is applied to the subtotal, tax is calculated on that discounted basis, and shipping is added afterward without automatic tax. This is a documented template default, not a universal tax rule.
