Method
Supports vertical parabolas in the explicit form y = ax² + bx + c, with a ≠ 0. Geometry is primary; arbitrary conic forms and horizontal parabolas are outside V1.
Worked example
For y = x², the vertex is (0, 0), p = 0.25, focus is (0, 0.25), directrix is y = −0.25, and latus rectum length is 1.
Limitations
Very small |a| below 1e-12 and geometry outside the reliable display range are rejected. Decimal results are rounded only for display.
