Here. What's going on? Trying to deal with cancer and You have cancer? Yeah, it's stage four.

I'm sorry. I've been fighting for six years. Do you mind if I sit? Feel free.

You sure? Yep. Did you fall in the driveway? Almost a couple times.

What happened to your foot? I have a ulcer or sore on the bottom of it I've been fighting for over a year and a half. It won't go away? No, I'm a diabetic so it's harder to heal and then they actually had to take me off chemo.

How long have you been on chemo? May of 2020. I did 154 rounds. 154 rounds of chemo?

I've done about 16 surgeries, 30 rounds of uh radiation. What's your name? Mindy. Mindy, is there something that you can't afford that would make making memories easier for you and your family?

Uh I'd say working vehicle. You don't even have a working vehicle. I'm so sorry. Yeah.

What about the driveway? It looks I mean you have trouble getting around. Haven't you Like do you fall? Well, I've hurt my I take my walker out here sometimes.

Someone's usually there with me holding on to me or holding on to an arm. How come you haven't replaced the driveway? No money. You don't have enough money?

What's your dream? Just see my kids grow up. How we doing, sir? Good.

Nice to meet you. I'm Josh. What gets you through it, Tom? My family, God.

I get a release sometimes when I go and ride my motorcycle, but now it doesn't feel so good. My knees hurt. You can't even do the things you enjoy. No.

Have you told anybody this? Do people know? Like I said, we're humble people. We keep to ourselves.

What would a new car and new driveway getting redone mean to you guys? Everything. I know you guys would never ask for it, but I want Yeah, I I wouldn't give it to you if I wasn't sure. Thank you.

That'll put food on the table for another week. You're having to worry about food on the table? These days. These days, yeah.

You're right at the threshold where the government won't help. So you feel like either A, you cut down on your hours and the government will help, or B, you stay exactly where you're at and you're just going to work for nothing. Yeah. I've been told to divorce him.

I'd get more help in cancer by being single. What do you say to people who say that? Mind your mind. Yeah.

If there's one thing you could fix right now, what would that fix be? It would be a driveway. Has it caused you a lot of problems? Well, yeah.

Shoveling you can't shovel because it's all uneven. What would it mean to you if you somehow were able to get a new driveway? I'd feel safer. What's been keeping you from fixing the driveway?

Money. How much money do you guys have? $400 right now. Is the house paid off?

No. Tom, how much would it cost to fix the driveway? Just for the asphalt it was seven grand, 7,500. It's a lot of money.
