It's a progressive type of epilepsy. Is he your only kid? No, um I had another son and he [music] passed away. He had the same disease.

How old was his brother when he passed away? He was 17 and a half. Usually kids [music] pass away before before they turn 18. Oh.

How old How old's GG? GG's 16. [music] He was a normal kid. This disease has taken everything from him.

I showered him in the garage [music] because there's no shower on the main floor, unfortunately. So, you can't you can't work right now? I can't work. How are you paying the bills?

You know, I call churches [music] and it's been very difficult. You have to be your own child's advocate because there is no help for children that have this disease. What would help you out? Modifications in the house to be able to care for him, a wheelchair accessible van [music] to be able to take him to the appointments safely.

He needs care and I'd love more than anything just to take care of him and not to have to worry about the bills, you know? 10 days after his brother died, we found out he has the same disease. [music] Oh, no. The only thing that really keeps me going on is him, you know?

He's a warrior. I'm behind on all my bills and just trying to keep my head above water. Are you married? I am and my husband is currently battling cancer.

I'm the only person in my house that can work [music] right now. How much money would you need so you don't have to struggle anymore and you could just spend quality time with your son? And get him what he needs, probably [music] a couple hundred thousand dollars. I just feel isolated.

I feel like nobody cares, you know? Can I be that one who cares? Cuz I do. I promise you I do.

Aziza Knight is headed to visit her son's grave. I wish it was me that was buried here, but it's not. It's him, you know? And I have to do everything I can to make sure his brother has everything he needs.
