Supported fields and limits
V1 supports name, short_name, description, start_url, scope, display, orientation, background_color, theme_color, and up to eight icon entries with src, sizes, type, and purpose. Relative and absolute HTTP(S) URL fields are accepted as configuration text and never fetched. Protocol-relative and non-HTTP(S) absolute URLs are rejected.
Colors are limited to 3-, 4-, 6-, or 8-digit hex. Display and orientation use enumerated values. Output uses JSON.stringify, then can be copied or downloaded locally. This does not create icons, a service worker, an installability audit, or a published PWA.
