Locale, URL, and SEO policy

Language codes accept a bounded two- or three-letter language plus optional two-letter region, normalized to lowercase language and uppercase region. x-default is supported. Duplicate locale rows and credential-bearing or non-HTTP(S) URLs are rejected.

Generated tags are syntactic output only. Correct hreflang deployments normally need reciprocal alternates, consistent canonicals, and careful validation. Tags do not guarantee rankings. The tool never crawls, submits, or publishes URLs.
